This policy forms part of the Platform Terms of Service. It applies to you and to everyone who accesses SysGuard under your account.
1. You must not
Security and integrity
- attempt to access any account, data or part of the Platform you are not authorised to access — in particular any other customer's data;
- probe, scan, penetration-test or otherwise test the vulnerability of the Platform without our prior written consent;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent authentication, permissions, rate limits, quotas or usage controls;
- introduce malware, ransomware or any malicious or destructive code;
- interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation, or impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load.
Software and data
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Platform, or attempt to derive its source code;
- copy, frame, mirror, resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise make the Platform available to any person who is not an Authorised User;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data other than through the export features we provide;
- use the Platform to build or train a competing product or service.
Content and conduct
- upload data you do not have the right to provide, or for which you have not given required privacy notices or obtained required consents;
- upload material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or infringing;
- use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages, or in breach of the *Spam Act 2003* (Cth);
- use the Platform to facilitate wage underpayment, falsify records, or misrepresent hours worked or amounts owed;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to act for a business.
2. Sending email through the Platform
The Platform can send email on your behalf. You are responsible for the content and lawfulness of those messages and for having a proper basis to contact each recipient. You must not use it for bulk marketing. We may impose sending limits and may suspend sending that puts our delivery reputation at risk.
3. Automated access
Do not use scripts, bots or automated tooling against the Platform except through interfaces we provide for that purpose, and within any documented limits. We may throttle, cap or block automated traffic to protect the service for everyone.
4. Reporting
Report suspected security vulnerabilities or misuse to office@sysguard.com.au. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before disclosing anything publicly. We will not pursue action against good-faith research that respects this policy, avoids privacy intrusion and does not degrade the service.
5. Consequences
Breaching this policy may result in suspension under clause 15 of the Terms, termination under clause 21, and referral to authorities where appropriate. We may take immediate protective action where there is a risk to the Platform or to other customers.
